Methane Manifesto

 

Challenge
How can Europe rapidly reduce methane emissions and phase out fossil fuels. We were required to invite supporters to sign the Methane Manifesto and add their name in support of the campaign.

Outcome
As part of a dual-branded project, we supported Friends of the Earth Europe and Food & Water Action Europe Up with a suite of design resources to help highlight the petition and galvanise support.

A gloomy and distressed visual style was an appropriate representation to show how methane emissions seep into the environment. A combination of gritty colour palettes, stark typefaces and bold illustrations set the tone stylistically.
